Today me and the grandkid, Leone, who is now 3 and 1/2, tore around the mall like maniacs while his mom, Michelle, shopped. He was going almost top speed, which is a gentle trot for me. We ran all around J.C. Penny's, then went into the mall proper, stopping into whatever shop took his fancy. We ended up, of course, at the arcade while Michelle, who eventually caught up with us, shopped at Old Navy.
I used to take the Kid to the arcade when he was a youngster, just beginning to walk. We'd hang around and play a few games, sit on the motorcycles, talk to people..
Today we got some tokens and played "ExZeus" Which was a whole lotta flying a helicopter and shooting stuff. His hands were too small for the control, so I had to help him out. Ehm...needless to say we didn't do too well but it was so fun.
Three is a wonderful age.
